Onboarding Process – FAQ & Reference Guide

This document explains what to expect during onboarding and answers common questions about getting started with our platform.


1. What happens after I create my account?

Once you’ve successfully registered and logged in for the first time, you’ll be guided through a few initial setup steps. These steps help finalize your account and prepare your workspace.

After completing them, you’ll land on the main dashboard where you can begin using the platform.


2. What is the "Get Started" guide?

We provide a 9-step Get Started Guide designed to walk you through the key setup actions and introduce you to the platform’s core features. You can access the Get Started guide in the lower left-hand corner of the platform from any screen.

  • Each step is short and actionable.

  • You can track progress as you move through the checklist.

  • You can return to unfinished steps at any time.


3. Do I need to import my inventory right away?

You’ll have the option to import existing inventory during onboarding. While optional, we strongly recommend importing your semi-finished and finished goods as part of the initial setup.

This ensures:

  • Inventory accuracy from day one

  • Lot and Unit IDs are properly tracked

  • Seamless integration with your production and sales workflows


4. What types of inventory can be imported?

  • Raw and Packaging Materials

  • Containers which include barrels, totes and drums

  • Semi-finished goods (e.g., bulk alcohol in barrels or totes)

  • Finished goods (e.g., packaged bottles, cans)


5. Can I skip steps and come back later?

Yes. The onboarding guide is flexible. You can skip certain steps and complete them later from the dashboard or settings menu.


6. How long does onboarding take?

Most users complete the essential steps in a few minutes and as a longs as few days, this depends on the size of their organization and inventory that you're importing.


7. What support is available during onboarding?

  • Tooltips and inline help are provided throughout setup

  • You can access the Help Center at any time from withing the software platform

  • Support is available if you need assistance throughout your journey with us


8. What happens after onboarding?

Once onboarding is complete, you’ll be fully equipped to:

  • Track production and inventory

  • Manage compliance records

  • Generate reports

  • Begin leveraging all platform features


9. Can I re-run the onboarding guide later?

Yes. The Get Started Guide can be relaunched anytime if you want to revisit or repeat the steps.


👉 Tip: To get the most out of your first session, import your inventory and especially your semi-finished and finished goods right away. This sets a strong foundation for accurate reporting and smooth day-to-day operations.
